Is Your Home Energy Fit?

Michigan Energy Options works with the City of Lansing to offer income-qualifying homeowners and renters the opportunity to have their homes weatherized for free through the Home Energy Fitness program.  This program offers residents the opportunity to learn more about how to save money on their utility bills, while helping to keep their homes more comfortable year-round.

Through this program, residents receive a free Home Energy Fitness visit, in which a certified Energy Specialist inspects the home to assess its current energy usage and offers a consultation on what measures to take in order to increase the home’s efficiency, while also maintaining its comfort.

In addition, homeowners receive up to $100 in energy-saving products, installed during the visit.  
In order to qualify for this program, your annual income guidelines must fall within the ranges below:
